What is foundChange?
foundChange is an ongoing series of trainings and retreats for clergy, medical personnel, mental health practitioners, teachers and leaders.
Through foundChange we create space to explore healing that is in process for you and those in your care. We revisit our growth edges to find the innate healing that is already present within us.
We provide a safe place to ground ourselves in the wisdom of our bodies, minds and intellects to face the challenges of our times.
We do this through:
- Webinars
- Seminars
- Retreats: in-person and virtually
We provide a safe place to ground ourselves in the wisdom of our bodies, minds and intellects to face the challenges of our times.

The Tasks of Grief and the Stories We Tell
On Sunday July 21st from 1:30 to 3:30
Loss is a Before/After event. Grief is what we call the time and space in which the mind crosses the chasm between What Was and What Is. Specific tasks are part of the grief process. In this two hour small group experience, we’ll talk about the grief process and where you are in it. We will use cognitive and narrative techniques to give language and understanding to your experience.
At the end of the class, you will have a grasp on where you are in the grief process, understand what tasks you are engaging with and have a start on the structure of your personal story.
That Happened…Now What?
Sunday July 28th from 1:30 to 3:30
Life events happen: loss, sheltering in place, crisis, new beginnings.
Understanding what happened is the first step to creating the Next Normal. We do this by telling the story over and over to ourselves and those who will listen. In this gathering we will use psychologically informed storytelling strategies to understand what happened and get an idea about what the Next Normal might look like. Attendees will collect insight into their experiences, investigate roles and outcomes and perhaps, have a story to tell.
Freedom From Within: inner calm in times of trouble
Sunday August 11th 1:30 to 3:30
There’s a lot going on. Life on Life’s terms can be abrasive and feel unmanageable. Whether you are managing the ups and downs of life, navigating changes or weathering things beyond your control, we have strategies and tools to work with anxiety and worry.
We’ll discuss the fact that anxiety is a survival strategy. We’ll explore how our daily lives ease or increase our discomfort. We’ll practice some strategies that you can take with you and use when you leave.
